Annual Independent Schools Exhibition in Central Milton Keynes

Schools exhibition in central Milton KeynesOn Wednesday 8th October 2008 more than 20 Independent schools from our region have been invited to exhibit in Middleton Hall (outside John Lewis), thecentre:mk, Central Milton Keynes.

Schools from Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire will be there to demonstrate the truly excellent opportunities that the independent sector offers children of all ages, talents and interests. The exhibition is an excellent opportunity for parents to meet with schools all under one roof, to learn more about their local schools and make an informed decision on their child’s behalf.  Participating schools range from pre-preparatory and nursery to senior schools, single sex and co-educational, day and boarding schools.

Pupils will perform on stage throughout the day. Visitors are invited to pick up a programme for a list of schools’ open days this term.

Dr Robin Barlow, Regional Advisor from the Independent Schools Council information and advice service (ISCias) says of the exhibition ‘Given the choices available, you can be certain that there will be an independent school that will cater for the needs of your child.  Parents often ask me which is the best school in an area, but there is no such thing as the best school.  However, there should be one which will suit the strengths and aptitudes of any child, and thus be the best for them.’  He will be on hand at the exhibition to speak to interested families.

This year’s exhibition has again been organised by Milton Keynes Preparatory School.  For further  information please call 01908 642 111 or email marketing@mkps.co.uk.
