Arson Attack in Conniborrow |
Thames Valley Police in Milton Keynes are appealing for witnesses after an arson on Saturday (7/8/2010).
At approximately 4.35am, the Conniburrow Community Association Neighbourhood House was destroyed by a fire. No one was in the property at the time of the fire and no one was injured. Great Linford South Neighbourhood Sgt Susan Herbert, leading the investigation, said: “On arrival to the local community hall, the rear doors to the property had been forced and it is believed that the fire was started deliberately. “The centre was used by the local residents and its destruction will have a massive impact within the community. “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, saw anyone in the area around the time of the offence acting suspiciously or has any information to contact me or Crimestoppers.” Anyone with any information regarding the incident is urged to contact Sgt Herbert at Milton Keynes police station via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505.
