The History of the Secret Intelligence Service The Bletchley Park Trust is proud to announce a fascinating Public Talk with the author of the newly published official spy book, ‘MI6: The History of the Secret Intelligence Service 1909 – 1949’ and a former Head of the Secret Intelligence Service (SIS). Professor Keith Jeffery is the man who has been where no writer has been before - inside the closed archives of the Secret Intelligence Service - MI6 - to research this first-ever history of the organization.

Keith Jeffery will be in discussion with a former Head of the SIS about the secretive world of espionage 1909 - 1949 - the period that covers the two World Wars with much of what happened still affecting the world in which we live today. They will also answer questions from the audience and the event will be chaired by Simon Greenish, CEO of the Bletchley Park Trust.

Seats for this Talk are limited and the cost of attendance is £40 which includes a signed copy of ‘MI6: The History of the Secret Intelligence Service 1909-1949’, (RRP £30) published by Bloomsbury.
