Beds & Bedrooms

Beds and Bedrooms Milton KeynesWe all consider the size of the bedrooms when we choose a new home but once we have moved in and the bed is in place, how many of us take a second look at the bedroom layout?

We tend to leave the bed where it was first placed.

Creating a room plan can help you decide where to place your bedroom furniture so that you maximise your floor space.

Placing the bed is the main trick when planning a layout for your bedroom but some things will influence your choice such as a double bed requires access for two people, so its best not placed in a corner. Bunk beds need clearance space for access to the upper bunk and safety.

Power points may dictate where beds are placed.

If your bed has storage draws fitted make be sure that the bed draws can open and don't clash with your wardrobe doors or drawers.
