The need for funds to restore Bletchley Park was highlighted last night on CBS Evening News broadcast across the whole of the United States of America.
The work of the Bletchley Park Trust received a huge boost in raising public awareness from a news item about the importance of the regeneration project and the need for funding. Simon Greenish, Director of Bletchley Park Trust expressed his gratitude to CBS for supporting the project, saying, 'For a programme like the CBS Evening News to be drawing attention to our campaign is absolutely superb and has already brought in donations from the US. It is wonderful that the Trust is beginning to obtain international support in its mission to transform the Park into a world class educational and heritage site reflecting the significance of its impact on World War Two and the way we live today.'
