Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a bus in Milton Keynes was shot at with an air gun, breaking a window.

The incident happened yesterday (29/9) at about 8.05pm, as the bus travelled along Edison Square in Shenley Lodge. Bangs were heard on the side of the bus and then one of the side windows shattered. The glass from the window covered one of the passengers, who was with her four month old child. The woman sustained a small cut and the child was unhurt.

The partner of the woman injured on the bus asked the driver to stop. He got off the bus and challenged two boys nearby, one of whom he believes had an air pistol with him.

The boy believed to be carrying the gun is white, aged between 14 and 16 years-old, 5ft and slim. He was wearing a black or dark blue hooded top with white writing across the front and black jogging bottoms. He was sat on a black BMX bicycle.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident take place or can help identify the offenders.
