Dancing In The Streets - A review by Wendy Brett

Courtney Buchanan leads you through the history of Motown its singer’s bands and songs in the most entertaining way. He is a great guide and gets the audience straight into singing within his fist minute on stage.

The attention to detail in the dance routines by choreographer Carole Todd are performed to the highest standard and Stevie Wonder really is a wonder to behold.
The costumes designed by Tony Priestly again are true in keeping with the whole Motown feel.

The band was up on the stage and should be applauded for their energy and there were lead by the expertise of John Rutledge, no beat was missed and the sounds were great.

All the singers who portrayed such artists as Diana Ross, The Four Tops, Temptations, Gladys Knight, Marvin Gaye, and Martha Reeves to mention a few were outstanding in their parts.

All in all a show not to be missed the audience were singing and dancing as much as the cast was. The hottest party in town!!
