3 September 2008 - Police are re-appealing for anyone who may know or recognise the man pictured in this image to contact them without delay.

Milton Keynes officers are investigating 20 offences for driving off without payment from petrol stations and the man pictured is suspected of all 20 offences.

On each occasion, the man is suspected of stealing registration plates that have been used on a silver transit van and more recently on a silver Ford Focus.

The plates have been stolen from all over the south of the country including Aylesbury, Leighton Buzzard, Surrey, Dunstable, St Albans and Milton Keynes.

The offender has filled up the transit or Focus at petrol stations across Milton Keynes without paying. The latest offence took place on Sunday 9 March 2008.

PC Karen Waters, leading the investigations, said: “We are investigating all 20 offences and I urge anyone who recognises this man or has any information to contact the police or Crimestoppers.”
