Fatal collision – Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a collision that occurred Thursday morning (8/10/09) in Milton Keynes.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a collision that occurred Thursday morning (8/10/09) in Milton Keynes.

At around 4.25am, a red van collided with a cyclist on the southbound carriageway of the A5, close to the Portway roundabout.

The cyclist, a man, was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital where he was later declared dead.

PC Barry Mclaughlin, who is investigating the collision, said: “I would like to hear from anyone who either saw the cyclist or the van prior to the collision or who witnessed the collision itself.”
