Police are appealing for witnesses after an 18-year-old man was assaulted in Bletchley on Saturday 6 June.

The incident happened at about 7.30pm, outside the shops on Whaddon Way. The offender called out to the victim and as he got close to him, punched him in the face.

The victim sustained a significant cut below his left eye and was treated at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, where he underwent surgery.

The offender is white, about 21 years old, 6ft tall, and of average build. He has light brown hair about an inch long, which is combed forward. He has a triangular-shaped face with a ‘pointy’ jaw and ‘pointy’ ears.

The incident happened on the same day as the Bletchley Carnival so the area was quite busy. It is also overlooked by a number of flats with balconies. Police are sure someone witnessed the attack and would urge anyone with information to contact them.

Anyone with information about this incident can contact PC Karen Sunnucks at Milton Keynes police station via the 24-hour non-emergency number, 0845 8 505 505. If you do not want to speak to the police, call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
