They're Keeping you down

What is it about this area that makes people rush around like blue arsed flies? Don't have time for the family, have very little time for any leisure and when you go on holiday for that one week in the year it's a struggle to settle down into a slower pace of life and if/when you do it's usually the day before you come home.

The stress on family life is immense these days with usually both partners working as well as bringing up the young family. A lot of couples are just passing ships in the night trying to make ends meet, with very little help from the government. In my house we've just had a rise in the child benefit which works out at about fifteen pence a week. Better than nothing I admit but what difference is it going to make? Would be more thoughtful if the extra few pence added up to a carton of milk a week, but as it is, it only just buys a carton a month. Well we'll all sleep easy knowing our children wont starve eh? To be honest I would feel less insulted if we didn't get anything. I mean, no body in there right mind would give you a half eaten biscuit for your birthday and tell you that you should be grateful for what you are given.

If I or my partner were to give up work so that one of us at least could give our children the attention that they deserve (which is a large factor in the lack of respect and discipline in this generation of kids) we wouldn't have a roof over our heads that's for sure. The price of housing is just ridiculous. We did own a house but out grew it in a couple of years and had to sell for the need of more bedrooms and a garden. Couldn't afford to buy so we are now renting.

What would happen if we all stuck together and stopped buying houses for six months? Would be an interesting experiment. Six months isn't a long time to wait and after we had got to the end of the six months how much cheaper would the houses be do you think? Is it worth the wait to make a potential saving? This is possibly a flawed idea but who will have the guts to try it?

The predictions for repossessions this year are already sounding crazy and we are obviously on the brink of recession. People are pumping up their debts on the credit cards, loans and overdrafts, and for many people it's going to be an extremely horrible year! Who is to blame for all the money mess? The banks or the individual? How many times have you sat down at lunch time to catch a bit of tele to see advert after advert telling you that if you have been refused credit don't worry we'll lend you a shit load of money, we know you won't be able to pay it back so we'll take your house and kick you in the plums. The wife will leave you and your children will grow up remembering what a shit childhood they had.

Try not to make the mistake of borrowing too much. Sounds obvious but you don't need half the crap they try and con you into. The whole system is about the authorities owning you. Think about it, if you didn't borrow all that money for your house or your car then you wouldn't need to work half as hard as you do and then the authorities wouldn't be milking you so much. England is one big labour camp. Fast becoming a concentration camp. Other races are coming in too. They've beened conned into thinking that they've come to a fantastic and free country only to find that they work harder than at home and for bugger all wages, which in turn brings all wages down, so we all have to work harder and longer hours, all of us regardless of race.

Something eventually has to give and it's not going to be long because people are already starting to go insane.

Gibbo.
