Half Term Fun At Pets At Home

Pets at Home in Milton Keynes will be holding a series of free pet workshops for children throughout the Half Term holidays.

The workshops, which have been designed to increase awareness and knowledge of how to care for different types of pets responsibly, will take place between Saturday, 13th February and Friday, 19th February.

For more information and times of workshops at your local store please contact Pets at Home Milton Keynes.

Store manager, Carol Grimsley, comments: “We’ll be holding a variety of exciting workshops for children to take part in. From rabbits to guinea pigs and fish to wildlife, the workshops will be something fun and interesting for children to do over the half term holidays.”

Children who attend the workshops will receive free animal stickers and a Pets at Home balloon and will also be able to take part in a fish tank colouring competition.

Carol adds: “At Pets at Home we are passionate about pets and their welfare is our top priority. We are keen to pass on our knowledge about responsible pet care to as many pet owners and future owners as possible, to ensure that pets live happy, healthy lives.”

Children can also take part in the store’s regular Picnic Time sessions where they can watch the pets being fed their healthy afternoon snacks and learn all about their feeding habits.

Picnic Time takes place every weekday at 4pm and at 2.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
