Nearly 25% of children in Milton Keynes are from ethnic minorities. The situation in some schools is on a par with the worst inner cities for educational problems and standards. With the immigrant population continually growing, pre school immigrant children now account for 36%. Nearly a third of Netherfield children get free school meals and infant mortality is higher than the national average. |
