jewellery boxThames Valley Police has released a number of photographs of a jewellery box and its contents to try and locate the owner.

The jewellery box was found in St Mary’s Street, in Wolverton, on 8 March and despite extensive enquiries police have been unable to identify who it belongs to or where it came from.

Items in the box include two baby hospital name tags and baby teeth as well as some items of jewellery.

Paula Dumbleton, crime property supervisor, said: “If we are unable to locate the owner then the jewellery and the box will end up being sent for auction. There are some very sentimental items in the box and we hope that someone will recognise it from the photos and get in touch.”

If you believe this is yours, please contact Paula Dumbleton at Milton Keynes police station via the 24-hour non-emergency number, 0845 8 505 505. If you do not want to speak to the police, call the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.

You can also give information to the police in person by visiting any police station. Find out the opening times and location of your local station (opens new window) or please call 0845 8 505 505.
