Local Superhero Conquers Marathon Bike Ride

bobbyflashSelf-styled, Milton Keynes-based ‘Graphic Design Superhero’, Bobbyflash bravely took on the challenge of the recent London to Brighton Bike Ride. Suitably attired, in cape and mask, he embarked upon the perilous 54 mile journey from Clapham Common to Brighton’s famous seafront. He had two aims; to complete the ride in 3 hours and 30 minutes, and to raise £1,000 for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

It all started well as Bobbyflash raced ahead of the field…well, some of the field. Unfortunately an old knee injury, acquired whilst battling evil a few years ago, and a miscalculation of the drag coefficient of his new cape conspired to slow him down. Despite facing such adversity, he still managed to complete the course in a respectable 3 hours and 45 minutes. More importantly, he raised £1,430 for the BHF. Well in excess of his target.

Back home in Milton Keynes the man behind Bobbyflash, graphic designer Stuart Bradley, was quietly satisfied with the outcome. “It was a little disappointing not to hit the time target - but it’s still a good time and I am delighted with the amount I have managed to raise for charity, which amazingly is still rising.”

So who is Bobbyflash? “Bobbyflash is the name of my graphic design agency,” explains Stuart. “The idea of a superhero just came to me one day whilst I was working on logo and branding concepts. I wanted something (or someone) to encapsulate my brand and personality. Bobbyflash – ‘your graphic design superhero’, does just that.”

Bobbyflash is known and trusted for delivering a quality service at a competitive price. He certainly seems to have captured the hearts and minds of customers and can now boast an impressive portfolio. “Our customers include many local businesses and public sector organisations, from event management companies and marketing agencies to higher education facilities,” says Stuart. “We have also worked for blue-chip organisations such as G4S (formerly Securicor) and Lombard Finance, as well as for the owners of leisure venues like Xscape.”

As if that weren’t enough, Bobbyflash also has an international client base in the US, Dubai and Sweden. It’s another great example of a business from Milton Keynes making its mark locally, nationally and even internationally.

To celebrate his biking achievement, Stuart…sorry…Bobbyflash is making a very special offer.
