Man sentenced for possession of explosive substances - Milton Keynes

A man from Milton Keynes was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison after being found guilty of possession of explosive substances for unlawful purposes.

A man from Milton Keynes was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison after being found guilty of possession of explosive substances for unlawful purposes.


Adil Rehman, aged 19, of Victoria Street, Wolverton, was sentenced at Huntingdon Crown Court after being found guilty by a jury.


The sentencing relates to an incident in Aylesbury Street, Wolverton, on Tuesday 15 July 2008, when a vehicle was stopped and searched by police and a small amount of potentially explosive substances were found. 


David Crosby, aged 31, from Wainers Croft, Greenleys, was sentenced to two years in prison for the same offence on 26 February.
