Milton Keynes Boy Charged With Five Robberies And Assault |

Thames Valley Police in Milton Keynes has charged a boy with five robberies and an assault.
The 17-year-old boy, from Milton Keynes, was charged on 8 July with five counts of robbery and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court on 10 August. The charges relate to five separate robberies which took place in June in Studley Knapp, Walnut Tree and Wavendon Gate. All of the victim’s were aged between 14 and 19, they were threatened and items including iPods and mobile phones were stolen. The assault charge relates in an incident on 15 June, where a 19-year-old victim was in Tesco Express, opposite Walton High School, and a man approached him and asked him to buy him cigarettes. The victim refused, left the store, and as he reached Blackberry Court, Walnut Tree, the offender asked him where he was going. He then punched the victim, causing his lip to spilt and loosening two teeth. He attended Milton Keynes General Hospital where he received nine stitches to his lip and had his teeth reset. |
