nonant buses
written by kelly, July 26, 2010
I CANT UNDERSTAND how come i cant get a bus from kingston or monkston to bletchley brfoe 7.00 in the morning, where as if i lived on a route that i could get the number 5 this is possible. i think you need to re-vise your bus routes and times and help those who live in monkston, middleton area to get to bletchley.
No 6 bus to get from Blackmore Gate, Furzton, to Milton Keynes Hospital
written by Jennifer Pickering, June 28, 2010
I am so disappointed and upset. I am 72 years of age and need to get to Milton Keynes Hospital every day. I understand we are encouraged to get out of our cars and use the public services. Well - I am very happy to do this. Except for the fact that the no. 6 bus has been removed. The only option is for me to walk a long distance from one end of Blackmore Gate to Favell drive to the V4 Watling Street, to catch a no. 4. By this time I will have walked half way to the hospital. I really do not think this is acceptable for ANYONE to have to do. Taxis are far too expensive and I really enjoyed using the very useful and convenient no 6.
Please will you re-introduce an alternative bus service for all the people who live in Furzton, particularly those around Blackmore Gate.
So bad

Buses in MK aare terrible and filled with either chavs or the desperately poor (often people are both). Services are irregular and unreliable, fares are expensive for the poor service and drivers are usually mute.
In Brighton five of its bus routes have buses every 6 minutes, there are screens showing exactly how long the next bus is due - as a result everyone uses the buses and chavs are few and far between
why?

Bus route comments

Ok first problem is that the 5 and the 5A is the opposite way round depending if your going towards or from the city centre. Also, the buses are really uncomfortable, public transport should have comfort. The only bus i reckon have the best comfort is the 300, the old buses are too noisy and bouncy (bad suspension). I really think that whoever changed the routes, shouldn't of bothered taking away bus and changing already current bus route. For example, the 12 was a really good bus route, it goes to OpenU from city centre and i think that what is the point of changing the was 5 route to a 5A route when they are the same?! I really think that introducing new routes is better than changing the whole thing. I mean, if you really do change routes, please hire or get some advisers to be at major bus stops to aid people who were lost due to the change. Route 33 is a very good route i think, but it's not always on time!
No offence why does the electronic timetables only show like 4,7, and 5 times? please don't just put them there, program and make them useful, how long have the bus service people taken to make them work?
number 2 bus newport pagnell
written by ALAN CHICK, May 01, 2010
My 14 year old daughter caught a number 2 bus (it was blue! dont know which company) at 12.30hrs saturday 01/05/2010 at Wordsworth newport pagnell, asked if the bus went to Giffard Park. Driver said yes. He then drove straight down V10 without entering Giffard park. She tried speaking to the driver but he didnt speak English!!! She got off at westcroft after telephoning me distraught because she didnt know any of the neighbourhoods the bus was in and the driver could not communicate with his passenger.
Why cant we have bus drivers that 1. Speak English sufficiently to communicate with the general population. 2. Know the bus route.
