 Milton Keynes Dons completed the signing of former Germany and Liverpool midfielder Dieter Hamann on a one year contract.
Hamann who is 36 years old hasn't played on a professional level since leaving Manchester city nearly a year ago and will become a player-coach for the MK Dons.
Hamann has made 191 Premier League appearances for Liverpool and he won the champions league title with in 2005. The 36 year old has won 59 caps for Germany and played a part in winning the 1998 and 2002 world cup with them, also the European championships in 2000 and 2004. Mk Dons Manager Karl Robinson worked as a youth coach at Liverpool was a player there.
