Milton Keynes Hospital Holds First Ever Annual Members Meeting - Wednesday 24 September 2008

The first annual meeting for members of Milton Keynes Hospital NHS Foundation Trust will take place at 6pm on Wednesday 24 September at the Postgraduate Centre, Milton Keynes Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Standing Way, Eaglestone.

All Foundation Trust members and interested members of the public are invited to attend.

Chair of Milton Keynes Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Dr Walter Greaves, said:

We are looking forward to sharing our achievements with everyone as we enter our second year as an NHS Foundation Trust. The event will include a review of the year and our plans for the future. The Trust will also report on the activity of our Members’ Council.

Those members honoured by our first ever Staff and Volunteers Recognition Scheme, which celebrates the dedication of individuals and teams, and the outstanding contribution that they have made to patient care and the delivery of services, will be presented with their certificates on the evening.

We are pleased that Consultant Gastroenterologist Dr Ravi Madhotra will deliver a short presentation on his award winning “Straight to Test” project that is offering fast and patient-centred cancer diagnosis. I hope that as many people as possible will take the opportunity to come along and join us on 24 September.

The Trust welcomes and encourages our Foundation Trust members to attend the meeting. If you are not already a member of the Trust you can sign up online or by filling in one of our membership application forms at the event.
