Dispersal order to begin on 1 December in New Bradwell and Stantonbury

24 November 2008 - Thames Valley Police in partnership with Milton Keynes Council have obtained a dispersal order for New Bradwell and Stantonbury as part of a crackdown on anti-social behaviour.

The order, which goes live on 1 December 2008 and runs until 31 May 2009, will allow police and police community support officers (PCSOs) to move groups of two or more people away from the dispersal area and prevent them from returning within a 24-hour period.

Milton Keynes Police through Children’s Eyes
Milton Keynes Police Helmet10 November 2008 - Five children’s groups from across Milton Keynes spent a day with the Thames Valley Police Mounted Section on 30 October. The children painted a mural at the stables of the Mounted Section expressing how they see the police. The theme was ‘police through children’s eyes’. The children also had the opportunity to meet the horses and look around a police car.

E-fit Released of A Snatch Thief in Milton Keynes
10 November 2008 - Police have released an e-fit of a man that they wish to speak to in connection with a snatch theft from a 13-year-old girl.
The incident happened at about 3.15pm on Thursday 9 October as the girl walked home form school with two of her friends.

21 October 2008 - PC Laura Garside has become the first student officer in Milton Keynes to graduate as a police constable after achieving her NVQ in Policing. In August 2006, NVQ Level Three and Four in Policing was introduced to all student officers as a requirement to graduate as a police constable.
