Not the Best of Jobs- Crisis over School Build Failures


Euan Henderson, who has been an outspoken proponent of the dash to expand Milton Keynes, has resigned over the issue.  He was Cabinet Member for school build. A cross party committee is being set up to look at the implications of the Penn Report The council’s Tory opposition wants this committee to evaluate the performance of Chief Executive John Best’s performance. They want them to ask whether Mr Best should be asked to resign from his £120,000 a year post. Council Chairman Isabel McCall is also being asked to consider her position.
