the concert was absoluty mad. liam looked fit as ever i was right at the front and i loved every moment of it. i had beer thrown over me but i didn't care. when they played morning glory everyone went madd for it!! the atmosphere was brill can't wait till 10 years of noise and confused gonna be brill. i love oasis. liam 4ever. when he dies he will be a legend but everyone that went mk will haver in our hearts forever. chernaed from Harlow amazing Seb from Kent What a day.... Beer... birds, bugle, loads of "SUNSHIIIIINE" and 1 of the best bands in the world keeping 65,000 people spellbound! Ian and Nick from Mitcham OASIS were f***in brilliant at MK, loved every second of it! and i lost me bloody t-shirt! best moment had to be turn up the sun, everyone went mad! or even MORNING GLORY, my fav song. loved them two and my generation! got f***in lagged out me face and then had a f***in long run back to the train station to catch me train back to london! anyways, f***in loved it lads! come on, you got another album in yas! after all, you are ROCK N ROLL STARS! OASIS OASIS OASIS OASIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sam from South East London I had my festival cherry popped and what a gig to see first , i'v been an oasis fan since i could remember the lads did nt disapoint could have done more from the old stuff but the highlight of the summer was hearing morning glory over screms of 65,000 people to evryone that was there keep the faith alive Scott B from Jersey Channel Island I'm only a kid so id never been to a concert until the oasis one and wat a great first concert it was. The atmosphere brill!! I loved it!! Matt from Kent that was such a kick ass gig, oasis rule! i was right at the front (not golden circle) and it was a wkd view. thanks to the crown safty gor passing back water, we all needed it. The coral were the only good support act, as for 'soundtrack to our lives' more like soundtrack to die to. as soon as oasis came on every1 went mad and they didnt dissaopint. Dont look back in anger. Peace! Seb from Surrey Oasis were fantastic. Well worth the wait. The best live performance i have ever seen from them, a great night. This looks to be their best ever tour playing most of the new album and all their greatest hits. 10/10 proved why they are one of if not the best band of the last 10 years. Jack from Birmingham best concert i have ever seen who ever said it was s*** must be some sort of c*** good laugh good music, drunk loads got smeshed best band in the last ten years and they carried that on no problem zutons were not to bad either, sweet. dan hahaha what a loser, oasis are good but sayin that theyre beter than sex??!?! u obviously been doin it with the wrong people! sort it out caz!!! charlie's angel from MK What a night! Everything seemed to go right, the glorious weather, the electric atmosphere, the superb oasis performance... Excellent. The few complaining of oasis lack of input to the crowd - get a life! They were there to play some mega tunes and thats what they did! The sober one from leeds, you sure you were sober? Liam didnt say that to the crowd Noel did. Oasis the biggest and most defining band of a generation? Definately! Not Maybe. Live Forever! Jay from Middlesbrough Does anyone agree out there that Oasis were fantastic as usual but milton keynes as an event was extremely badly organised. We arrived at 8am to ensure we could fight our way to the moshpit and get a great view of Liam as he strutted on.Not realising Oasis were not to appear till 9pm.With one good support act(Zutons)the crowd got bored and drunk and ruined the gig for alot of people. As for the idiots pushing and shoving in the moshpit they should get earlier if they are true fans. Some of the idiots found it funny watching young girls and elderly women being crushed against the barrier only to be lifted out after waiting 13 hours to see their idol.Cheers pissheads. handlesii,Lunny, shelly, chrissy from Norwich that was the best day of my life stuff getting married and all of that crap this was just amazing even if i did stink of piss when i got home at 3 a.m well done boyz!!!!!!!!!! nicki from north london BEEN WANTING TO SEE THE BOYS 4 AGES,WELL WORTH WAITING FOR THO,CIGARETTES AND ALCOHOL STILL A CLASSIC.HAD A GREAT DAY IN THE SUNSHHHHHHINE NHOJA from wolves This was my first ever time i have seen the band since i got into oasis when i was 15,and they didnt let me down! great gig great band what more can be said! Lee allsop from Derby Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Great vibe and great people. Pow! Danny Boy from MK What an experience!!! Loved every minute of it. Crowds did a bit of self entertainment beforehand, being as Oasis weren't on till nearly 9pm, but as soon as Liam n co walked on stage the crowd exploded. The whole show was unbelievable. Yes the stage did look fantastic with the lighting alone. Liam gave it his all, not forgetting to mention that Noel n co were great too. Got up on my mates shoulders so I could get a proper look at Liam - god I love him! The music was 110% full on - will be going to see them again soon. The mad crowds are just part of the full on, fantastic, explosive, unforgetable day. So if your not mad enuff don't moan at other people enjoying themselves...apart from the reports of piss throwing, scum!!! Jodie from Nuneaton Went on the sunday, been to two shows at manchester but the MK gig just blew me away. Plus to all those people who say that oasis didn't interact with the crowd, What the f***! You go and see OASIS for the music not all the crap like "MK your the best crowd ever" blah blah blah. Its ALL about the music, we all went to see oasis to see them perform and they did. If you want someone to say that your the best crowd ever and that its a great gig go and see an act that don't have the quality of songs that OASIS have. Liam on stage is a man who becomes a god, whereas noel is a living god Honda from birmingham Was in the middle of the crowd amongst all the urine throwing idiots, who thought they were funny (feel sorry for anyone who got landed on)! All on all, it was good gig! Nice to see oasis back on top form (although Liam is still a twat) but love the music, full on! Some real good tunes, most of the classics, polished off by a heavy dose of 'my generation' getting everyone going and screaming for more. I'm loving the new album, being into the mod scene and all, it's got a good sound to it, nothing like what they've done before! Feed me some more boys! 65,000 people, £150 I shouldn't have spent, to many beers, urinated on and thrown about like a rag doll... Yer, I suppose it was a good gig. Live forever! jed from stevenage The ticket said the showtime was 3-7 but after four mediocre to poor support bands (apart from 22-20's who were cool)-oasis finally came on. They waited for the sun to set then came on and the stage looked amazing with the lights and screens. We waited all day for them and when they arrived all the time spent waiting was forgotten. As soon as the music came on and they walked on the whole placed erupted came alive after baking in the sun all day.- Boy was it worth the wait! They began with turn up the sun which was a stonker!! really top tune i cant get it out of my head now. The show progressed and it was a great solid performance - it was like oasis saying this is why we are great and will be rememered as one of the defining band of your lives. They showed all the preceeding bands that despite all the critcsm they are one of the biggest bands around-(Probably the biggest)- and all the pretenders have a long way to go- I can't see many other bands filling up a stadium a few times over. Despite all the criticsm from people who dont know much about music-this was a polished mature performance- not much talking just belting out the tunes perfectly- liam was awesome. If someone didnt enjoy it they clearly arnt a real oasis fan because this was top. I really cant see what there was to critic about the show. Garyk from London I had an amazing day,i thought oasis could have looked like they where enjoying them selfs as much as we were, i felt they where there to do a job and get the hell out of there, amazing though never the less!!!! lisa simpson from Ipswich It was soooooo unbelievably good!!! words cannot decribe how fab they really were!! i love oasis! Natalie Payton from North london Oasis were totally awsum! a really good show! they could of been on for longer tho.. the zutons were really good 2! gr8 weather for a gr8 day! LO from MK What a day! It was brill - we arrived at 3pm only to find out oasis weren't on till nearly 9pm, but it gave us the chance to chill, drink lots of beer and sit in the sun. There were a few trainers flying around and lots of beers being thrown that you had to be aware of - due to other reports saying it was piss, trust me - I never felt anything warm being thrown - it was all 100% cold Budweiser, Smirnoff, water etc. The atmosphere was awesome - I even got my tits out for all the lads for a bit of pre-oasis entertainment,oh well what the hell, everyone was up for a laugh. Its all fun. Would of liked to of heard more from Liam tho as he never really got the crowd going - saying that tho he never really needed too. The crowd were up for it, the whole day was amazing, wonderwall just blew me n everyone away, I can't wait to go to another gig. I would recommend it. Jo from Warwickshire you cant descride the feelings !! Superb once again James Dunford from Sheffield i thought it was amazing, the atmosphere was unreal and the spirit of the people was fantastic. aaron dobson from grimsby, linconshire Top notch performance from Oasis - for us 22:20's were best of support bands. When Oasis came on the gig moved into top gear and they showed why they are top 6 Premier League status.Great renditions of Wonderwall & Don't look back in Anger(plus SuperNova & Little by Little!) Downside: 1)They weren't on long enough (U2 did 2.1/4 hrs in Manchester last month) and 2)People throwing pint pots full of piss over the crowd in front of them - whoever started this abysmal behaviour at Oasis gigs want their gonads fed to the lions! It's a s**t thing to do and totally selfish - 65,000 people paid good money for their tickets and deserve to be allowed to enjoy a gig without getting pissed on. A great night, all the same - superb weather . Shame about the MK Bowl car park shambles! Steve H. Family from Manchester - now living Ipswich Struggled to get close to the stage but then that was because there was a constant downpour of piss being hurled from numerous drinks cups. Probably one of the worst live performance by anyone I have ever seen. I can only conclude that there were very few sober people in the Milton Keynes bowl if that was a good gig. I was also extremely impressed by Liam's comments about everyone in Milton keynes being glue sniffers ! a sure fire way to get the crowd going. One of the Sober Few from Leeds Absolutely Amazing! the atmosphere and the whole show was awesome!! Katy from Nottingham Good review there Jim, and nice use of all the songs. The only disappointing thing for me was that only the front few rows of the crowd seemed really up for it. If you moved more than about 5 metres from the barrier and started jumping people looked at you as though you had an extra arm. Credit to the older couple who happily joined in with our bouncing to make our way to the front barrier. Caz, you've never met me ;) John from Chesterfield Absolutly Awsum!!! Never seen nothing like it!!!The Music was class! They playd all their Quality well known songs nd it sounded so good!! What a day!! James Falconer went there with 2 of my best mates-amazing time and amazing crowd-even better being in the pit! amazing crowd!! Charlie edwards from Portsmouth best concert ive been 2 ever, atmosphere were amazing! brilliant! better than sex!!!!!! caz wade, Bury. Sunday 10th July 2005 Heres another Sunday morning call and the weather seemed to listen to 65,000 people hoping for some sunshine, it was gonna be another hot one. Had some cigarettes & alcohol and we were ready to roll with it. After a nice little walk to the Bowl from Shenley Lodge, past Furzton lake (which looks like a good spot if you don't have a ticket for the next one) we arrived and were part of the queue. Then it was straight out to the main arena, we chilled on the grass while the support bands kept everyone entertained. Which i thought they did brilliantly, setting the tone with some proper summertime rock 'n' roll sounds. 'Secret Machines' were good and so were the '22:20's' but i thought 'The Soundtrack Of Our Lives' were the best of the three definitely, maybe. Around 7 o'clock The Coral came on and lifted everyone, people started to pack towards the front and bounce up and down, some might say things were kickin off. They are one of my favourite bands so I was right in there shouting/singing along. When The Coral finished the crowd was pumping, waiting for Oasis to take the stage. It was quite a wait aswell, i don't know what they were doing but it took at least half an hour for them to appear. Then they burst on with 'Fuckin in the bushes' and everyone goes mad, Liam says 'cheers'. All the classics from then on for an hour and a bit, plus some tracks from the new album. 'Turn up the Sun' was amazing, can't get it out of my head since and 'Champagne Supernova' really did it for me, classic. Then after a short break they stroll back on stage and fire it up with more great songs from past and present. 'The Importance of Being Idle' went down really well but the killer had to be 'Rock n Roll Star', that and 'Live Forever' smashed it for the night. It was hot, sticky, chilled, entertaining, exciting, amazing and memorable. I did find it a little disappointing that Oasis didn't give the crowd much (other than the music), they generally swaggered around the stage and gave the impression that they were bored of Milton Keynes already. But let's not look back in anger, they rocked the place from start to finish and left us all shouting for an encore. Mad for iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!
