Police carried out a warrant at a property in Newport Pagnell last Wednesday (8/7) and closed down a cannabis cultivation set-up.
Around 3pm officers entered the property in Willen Road and found 360 plants. The plants and equipment have been seized.
Three men and a 16-year-old boy were arrested at the property on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis with intent to supply. The three men - one aged 41, from Hertfordshire, one aged 41, from Milton Keynes, and one aged 30 from Hertfordshire - and the boy from Milton Keynes have all been bailed to return to Milton Keynes police station on Wednesday 9 September.
PC Mark Poulton, investigating, said: “This was a good, successful warrant; we have been able to shut down the drugs factory and help put a stop to the supply of drugs in our community. We will not tolerate drug factories in Milton Keynes. We will continue to shut them down and put a stop to drug dealers coming into the city and setting up these factories.
“There could possibly be other cannabis factories on other estates in MK and it is vital residents are aware of any signs of cannabis cultivation and contact the police if they suspect anything. We rely on community intelligence for raids such as this and we need their help to stamp it out of the city all together.”
