Sometimes people feel lonely and sad, When they look back on the life they've had. You know when all is said and done, no ones laughing no one won. Battle lines were bound to be drawn, What once was love has turned to scorn. You blame yourself l expect, Cos they were here one day and gone the next. Don't you see no ones to blame, Its all part of lifes rich game. Its left you feeling like your bereft, In your head theres nothing left. Remember when you were YOU, World at your feet so much to do. Somewhere along the way you got lost, Sacrificing yourself was the ultimate cost. Right now you're lonely and miserable, I can see your pain its almost physical. But l think you know deep down inside, The day will come to leave the past behind. Sarah. |
