Two teenage pedestrians were injured in a collision in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire, Monday afternoon (7th march, 2011).
A blue VW Lupo was in collision with a 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman at 5.14pm in Marsh End Road. The car had left the road and mounted a grass verge where they were stood.
The teenagers were taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital but the man, who suffered serious head injuries, was later transferred to the neurological unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where he remains in a critical condition.
The woman is in a stable condition at Milton Keynes General Hospital after suffering cuts and bruises.
The driver of the Lupo, a woman, was taken to the Milton Keynes General Hospital overnight for observation but she has since been discharged.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for anyone who saw the collision, or who saw the VW Lupo at any time prior to the collision, to come forward.
