Thames Valley Police in Milton Keynes are appealing for witnesses after an alleged sexual assault on Saturday (5/6/2010)
The 16-year-old victim was walking along the redway adjacent to the H6 Childs Way, from Fishermead, across to the Barn restaurant in Central Milton Keynes between 11.30am and 12pm when she was grabbed from behind. The offender attempted to drag the girl backwards, but the girl fought back and managed to break free and run away towards Oldbrook. The offender ran off in the direction of Fishermead.
The girl sustained a minor cut to her chest as a result of the incident. As she was running away from the offender, she ran past four or five people who may be significant witnesses to the incident and police urge these people to come forward.
The offender is white, around 20-years-old, 5ft 6ins, average to large build and short, untidy brown hair. He was wearing a checked, long sleeved shirt with a white T-shirt underneath and he was carrying a brown bag with a strap across his chest.
The victim is white, 5ft 6ins and has shoulder length brown hair, in a bob-style. She was wearing a black and white short sleeved top, white shorts and black pump-style shoes.
