Suspect devices found on cash machines - Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses and urging people to be vigilant, after suspect devices were found on cash machines in Stony Stratford.
Since 1 April, police have received 18 reports of skimming devices being used on cash machines in Stony Stratford.
The most recent offence took place on Friday 11 September. A customer informed the owners of the cash machine that his card has been retained by the machine and the owners discovered £600 had been withdrawn from the account without the victim’s permisson.
PC Deane Abbs, investigating the incidents, said: “I would like to hear from anyone that may have witnessed any suspicious activity around the area of any cash machine in Stony Stratford.
“I urge people using cash machines to be vigilant and, if they believe the machine to be suspucious, report it straight away to the owners of the machine and do not, under any circumstances, use it.”
