The Bag Ladies
The Fox and Hounds played host to a Jazz Funk band from
in and around Milton Keynes called The Bag Ladies.
They're not the youngest of groups but believe me when I say
they sound funky as the likes of Jamiroquai and maybe coz
they're older this is where the experience comes in. They
sound similar to the likes of James Brown, The Average White
Band, Brand New Heavies and as you know Jamiroquai. It's a
nice professional unit consisting of 7 players, a vocalist,
players on guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, trombone and
sax.

From what I gather they do a few covers but mostly perform
their own material. So be assured that if you're looking
for night of some decent Jazz Funk that's what you'll be
getting if you go to a Bag Lady gig.
