The Mist (Film Review) Release Date 4th July Cineworld Milton Keynes |

The Mist Director: Frank Darabont Cast: Thomas Jane, Toby Jones, Marcia Gay Harden, Laurie Holden, Andre Braughter, William Sadler, Alexa DayalosWritten by: Stephen King Running time: 125 mins Shortly after the film starts a mist rolls in to a small Maine town in America bringing something with it, something hidden within the mist. As soon as the fog hits the Maine screams of terror and pain can be heard from all around. The film focuses on a bunch of the locals and a few out-of-towners trapped within a supermarket wondering just what on earth is going on outside. As time passes the horror gets worse, as each passing day holds new horror's they have to confront, which includes confronting each other and the hell that's outside wanting to come in. The Mist could be likened to 'Deep Rising' or 'The Host' and although it's not Spielberg when it comes to CGI, the script is good. It feels like one of those B-movies that you see that leaves you thinking that it was close to being a bad film but turns out to be pretty good. Worth it.
