 The Pitz Club & MK CitizensBAND BLITZ COMPETITION 2008 is upon us again This will be the 10th Band Blitz & the 10th year its been held, so i think we are going to end it on 10 years and next year do something else.... this comp has been extremely important in showcasing, building and exposing a lot of young bands and our little music scene over the years, by the end of this summers comp 200 bands would have passed through, which i think is pretty amazing. Please,Please make an effort to come along this year and suport all the young bands showcasing... it is a 'comp' and their is prizes.. but whats most important is for the bands to get a chance to play in front of a lot of supportive people and start to build their all important following! we have some killer prizes this year for the lucky 5 bands who battle through to the final, including:- recording session with Neema (Fell Silent) @ STUDIO 33 recording session with Darre  n @ EASTWOOD STUDIO20 T Shirt band merch prize from DAR2WEAR 3 Free rehearsal sesions @ OLDSCHOOL MUSIC STUDIO Write a song/piece of music for MK DONS TV headline Pitz gig Marshall Amp Blackstar valve pedals Money prize pro Photoshoot Feature/write up in Citizen/Go plus live set recorded by ROCK HOPPER STUDIOS
