Callum Lucas, aged 18, from Waterlow Close, Newport Pagnell, was sentenced to two years and three months detention in a Young Offenders Institute for grievous bodily harm with intent.
Jamie Jones, aged 20, from Lincoln, Stantonbury, Milton Keynes, was sentenced to one year and three months detention in a Young Offenders Institute for grievous bodily harm with intent.
Anthony Peach, aged 20, from Granby Court, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, was sentenced to nine months detention in a Young Offenders Institute for possession of an offensive weapon.
Lucas and Jones were sentenced on Thursday (29/7) and Peach was sentenced on 16 July; all three were sentenced at Huntingdon Crown Court.
A fourth man, Campbell Mair, aged 20, of no fixed abode, who was charged with possession of an offensive weapon, failed to appear at court to be sentenced and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
The sentences are in connection to a violent disorder in Newport Pagnell on 30 May 2009. Police were called to a disturbance in The Grove, Green Park area where a 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, sustained knife wounds.
Det Con John Swallow, who led the investigation, said: “Thankfully incidents involving knives are extremely rare in Milton Keynes. The sentences send out a strong message that knife crime in Milton Keynes will not be tolerated and people found in possession of an offensive weapon will be dealt with robustly, put before the courts and could face being imprisoned.
“I would also like to thank members of the public for their cooperation during this investigation.”
