Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after two men were taken to hospital following a fight at Newport Pagnell Football Club on Saturday night (12/6/2010).
The incident happened at about 10pm at the club in Willen Road. Three men were assaulted during the altercation by a group of offenders. A 44-year-old man, who was knocked unconscious, was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital where he was treated for an injury to his mouth. He has now been released.
A 19-year-old man was also taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital where he required 20 stitches to injuries on his face and head. He has now been released from hospital.
A 20-year-old man was also assaulted but did not require hospital treatment.
The main offender is white, 6ft, in his early to mid-twenties, with a shaved head and a thin line of hair from his sideburns to his chin. He was shirtless and had a very distinctive tattoo of a black scorpion across his back with the claws of the scorpion on each shoulder.
Sgt Andy Paulden, from the Newport Pagnell neighbourhood team, said: “We know that there were possibly 200 people at the football club when the incident happened. We have spoken to numerous people but there seems to be some reluctance from witnesses to come forward and talk to us. I would urge anyone who saw what happened to contact us and tell us what they know. Two people were hospitalised and the offender of offenders responsible need to be held to account for their actions.”
