Volunteers Needed For Willen Hospice Warehouse |
 Willen Hospice provides care and support to adults in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas who are terminally ill, and their families. The Hospice receives only a quarter of its funding from the NHS and has to raise over £2.7 million to provide its care.One of the ways the Hospice raises funds is through its network of 9 shops. These shops sell, among other things, clothes, fashion accessories, books and collectables. The majority of the sorting and pricing of these donated items is done at the Hospice's warehouse in Kiln Farm. The warehouse is in desperate need for volunteers to help with the sorting and pricing of clothing and collectables. Potential volunteers need to be 16 and over, physically able to lift and carry and able to commit to a minimum of 3 months to be able to support the Hospice in this role. If you are interested in supporting the Hospice by volunteering for this very active and sociable role there are three information sessions being held at the Warehouse in Kiln Farm, Milton Keynes.
