However, what about the wedding cake? Naturally you want photographs of the Big Day. Excellent photography doesn’t just happen without an excellent photographer. Have wedding reception venues been examined? Whether a sit-down dinner or a buffet; have wedding caterers been engaged? Who is supplying and arranging the wedding flowers? Wedding venues are more varied nowadays with marriage ceremonies able to be performed at any suitably licensed premises.
A wedding will need to be planned meticulously. Venues have to be booked ahead. If you want a quality photographer for the photography at your wedding, they will be in demand and be booked up into the future. If thinking of wedding dress hire instead of buying your own wedding dress, will you have the choice you want if you leave it too close to the Big Day?
The planner - whether professional or directly connected to the upcoming wedding - needs to be aware of the likely movements of intended wedding guests. Guests may need to book time from their work, or pick the dates of their holidays away so as to be able to come to your Big Day. You don’t want to be sending wedding invitations out three months ahead of the wedding ceremony or reception - especially a summer wedding.
